2012 #4: IVD 2012

International Volunteer Day is a day to celebrate and appreciate volunteers who selflessly serve all over Singapore. As part of the celebrations, an appreciation carnival and concert with the theme “A Family of Volunteers” was organised at the SMU Campus Green and WindWorkz was delighted to be part of the celebrations.

The concert was graced by the Guest-of-Honour, Mr Lawrence Wong (Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth & Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information).

2012 #3: In Aid of Pink Spartans

WindWorkz provided live jazz music for the "Bubbles and Buble" event at Hosted on the Patio in aid of the Pink Spartans, a society for cancer survivors. It was a fantastic evening - with wonderful music, good food and great company and to top it off, all for a good cause.

2012 #2: St Andrew's Autism Centre 7th Anniversary

St Andrew's Autism Centre celebrated its 7th Anniversary on 4 Oct and WindWorkz was glad to be part of the celebrations on its premises at Elliot Road. Windworkz played familiar favourites to accompany the guests as they had dinner and ended with a bang with a special item.

2012 #1: 13th YMCA Golf Charity

WindWorkz had the pleasure of playing for another YMCA event - the 13th YMCA Charity Golf Dinner & Prize Presentation at the Tanah Merah Country Club. WindWorkz played before an appreciative crowd including, the Guest-of-honour Mr S Dhanabalan, Chairman, Temasek Holdings Pte Ltd and Chairman, YMCA Advisory Council.

2012: 5th Anniversary

Time flies - WindWorkz has been performing for good causes for 5 years now. We have new people join us and a few people who used to play with us have stepped down for the time being, for various reasons such as being a full-time student, or being parents. When we get together, we enjoy playing music, good food and each other's company. Here's a picture of the people who came together to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of WindWorkz at Sukiya, Marina Square.

2011 #6: Songs of Hope

"Songs of Hope" - a fund-raising concert @ the Singapore Conference Hall, was organised by One Hope Centre, a voluntary welfare organization which helps those in difficulty as a result of gambling and abuse.  WindWorkz is delighted to be part of this meaningful concert to help raise funds for the work of One Hope Centre. 2011 #5: YMCA - Oh Holy Night

The YMCA of Singapore organised 'Oh Holy Night' in aid of Thailand flood victims. The special guest performers for that evening were the Thailand Sanctuary Symphony Orchestra. WindWorkz had the special privilege of being the opening item.
