2017 marks a significant milestone for WindWorkz - we are 10!
We are grateful to the many talents who have come and shared their musicianship with us, to volunteer with us as we play for good causes and bring cheer to those who enjoy our music.
We celebrated with a feast and we look forward to many years to come!
Happy Birthday, WindWorkz!

2016 #3: Christmas at the Cathedral Cafe
WindWorkz ended the year with Christmas cheer on not one but two evenings at the St Andrew's Cathedral Cafe - 21 & 22 Dec.
Cool jazz music lifted the spirits and warmed the hearts of those who were crowded around the band right outside the Cafe. Toes were tapping, fingers were snapping and hips were swaying to the exuberant sounds of familiar favourites like "Joy to the World". And while our resident singer, Titus, was belting out "Let It Snow", wistful looks yearned for a cooler Christmas. The evening ended with "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and "Feliz Navidad" with the band playing wholeheartedly and everyone else happily singing and wishing one and all the very best of the season.

2016 #2: Raise a Song of Gladness
WindWorkz was invited by the Methodist School of Music to be a part of their 19th Anniversary Celebrations in a concert at the Performing Arts Hall of ACS(J). The band had a great time playing from its gospel music repertoire, ranging from all-time classics such as Amazing Grace and This Little Light to contemporary pieces like Days of Elijah.
WindWorkz wowed the audience with its opening number - Majesty/He is Exalted, which is augmented by the timpani and additional touches on the various percussion instruments by our guest performers.
And our vocalist, Titus, struck a chord with the audience, singing crowd favourite - Just a Closer Walk.

2016 #1: 17th YMCA Charity Golf 2016
WindWorkz once again supported the YMCA Charity Golf event. Our lively music and the soothing crooning from Titus lifted the spirits of the golfers who had a wonderful albeit tiring day on the course.

2015 #10: Christmas at the Cathedral
WindWorkz celebrated a swinging Christmas at the St Andrew's Cathedral as part of the "Christmas at the Cathedral" festivities.
WindWorkz played with such infectious energy bubbling over to the crowd and supporters who gathered that the true joy of Christmas was deeply felt by all who were there.
Indeed it was a night to remember.

2015 #9: Assisi Hospice Charity Dinner 2015
With the theme "Jazz up with Love", WindWorkz was featured at the Assisi Hospice Charity Dinner at the Pan Pacific Singapore. Amongst those who were present were Archbishop William Goh, Ms Ho Ching, its Patron, and Mrs Josephine Teo, the Guest of Honour. The band captivated the diners with our jazzy tunes and swayed them away.
WindWorkz is delighted that the Hospice has managed to meet its target of $1 million through the dinner, which goes towards its operating costs and its new purpose-built, patient-centric building with increased capacity as well as dedicated dementia and paediatric wards.
Do visit http://www.assisihospice.org.sg/ if you would like to find out more and make a contribution.
